It’s been five months since I moved to Miami, working for Condoideas Realty Group. I’m starting to be familiar with the condos in the South Beach neighborhood. I thought that maybe it would be interesting to share my point of view about some of them.
Let’s start by the Icon South Beach. What I like about this condo are the amenities. They are spectacular: 2 pools, a library, a spa, a massage area, a restaurant and a gym where it’s impossible not to lose weight! The units are spacious and for sure the ones facing the bay are my favorites. The only drawback in this building is that the one bedroom units don’t offer a balcony. If you are thinking about buying a unit at the Icon, the prices start in the mid $600/sqft. The atmosphere is quiet, relax, chic and it seems like everything is made to make your life easier!
When I think about a breathtaking view I think about the Bentley Bay Condos. The units are surrounded by brightness thanks to the floor to ceiling windows. You can also enjoy the panoramic view of the Miami skyline from deep balconies. The one issue if you live in the North Tower, is that you have to walk to the South Tower to reach the amenities. But let’s not complain since you don’t have to cross a snow blizzard from one tower to the other! If you are looking to purchase in the Bentley Bay condo, prices start also in the mid $600/sqft.
Finally, my favorite overall is the Yacht Club at Portofino. Here you’re sure to find a quiet place to reside with great neighbors who are always pleased to chitchat with you. This condo is located 3 blocks away from the beach. If you are a boat lover it is at the Yacht Club that you purchase your condo since it sits right in front of the South Beach marina. The units themselves are all well conceived and practical, facing either the bay or the ocean. Keep in mind that the prices ranges are also very competitive for the quality of living you’ll find there. You can find your South Beach “pied a terre” starting in the mid $500/sqft. On the negative side, I must say that the hallways are a little bit old fashioned but the condo is already choosing new designers to renovate it soon!
And of course, the most important thing to know about the Yacht Club is that in the lobby you’ll find the office of the best real estate agency in town: Condoideas Realty Group!
