As you all know by now, the Genting Group is developing the famous Resort World Miami and we are all looking forward to see the ground breaking this summer. The least we can say is that the plans for the project have surprised me. We all dreamt about the casino but unfortunately it’s not planned yet. Instead the developer decided to go green. The group is creating parks, a luxurious bay walk and view corridors.  It still sounds pretty good!

The developer is also planning on renovating the art Deco Boulevard Shop to create restaurants and nightclubs. The work will start around June and should take a year. The Hilton Hotel also owned by Genting, is being renovated as we speak. That’s a lot of projects but is it not enough: Resort World Miami will be replacing the Miami Herald with 3 condos tower and a luxury hotel. The parks and the bay walk will link the project to Museum Park and the Arsht Center.

I am enthusiast to see how active The Genting Group is, they reflect how the market and Miami are booming.
