Miami ranked nᵒ3 worldwide!

Since 2007, the Prime International Residential Index (PIRI) highlights the annual price changes in luxury real estate all around the world. By now, we all know that the market here is getting hotter…  However, it is always comforting to get some numbers in front of us. A successful year for Miami Dade’s real estate market

2011 has been an amazing year for Miami Dade County real estate market. Compared to last year, number of units sold rose 46% for existing homes and 58% for condos. The number of units sold this year has even surpassed the real estate boom year’s sale of 2005. Read the rest of this entry »

Tourism gets Miami back on its feet

In 2011, it appears that Miami became one of the top tourist destinations in the United States. Half of Miami’s visitors come from outside of the United States especially Latin America and Europe.

 This surge in tourism has had direct consequences on Miami economy. First, a sudden raise in business has helped the job growth in the region’s hospitality sector: 108,000 jobs in July 2011 compared to the 104,500 jobs in July 2010, that is to say, a growth of 3,4% in a year.
