Thanks to the Miami real estate market, Bayside Marketplace seems to become attractive again for the Miamians. Since the surrounding condos are filling up, Bayside sales have seen a double-digit growth.    Blue collars from Downtown Miami and Brickell are coming to Bayside to have lunch or to get a drink in popular restaurants like Hooters or Fat Tuesday, they even go shopping in famous stores   like Victoria’s Secret or Guess.

Located between the American Airlines Arena and the port of Miami, Bayside also benefits from the success of the Miami Heat as well as the cruise ship passengers. With the addition of Lebron James to its team, the basketball crowd has invaded not only the arena but all the businesses in the neighborhood.

In the fourth quarter of 2010, three new businesses were added to the mall, which set its occupancy rate at 93%.
