Since Brazil’s economy and currency are getting stronger, a large number of Brazilians are coming to the USA for pleasure but also to invest in real estate, and particularly in Miami real estate market. According to the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, they spent $1.1 billion in 2010 which is 15% more than in 2009. Brazilians represented 6% of the total Miami-Dade tourist expenditures.
In terms of volume of visitors, it is expected that Brazilians overtake Canada for the first place next year.
