Enjoy life at the Icon

13 Dec

CaptureToday I showed a unit at the Icon South Beach, and even if you probably already know this building, I decided to write a few things on it. It’s truly my favorite in South Beach and I believe it is a great investment. Located in one of the best spots, the Icon South Beach is a splendid condo designed by Sieger Suarez. Its developer, Jorge Perez from the Related Group, wanted to offer state of the art amenities and spectacular views of the bay and of the ocean to the residents. Well, even 8 years after its construction, every time I enter into the multi-story lobby of the Icon, I think to myself that his bet was won.

First of all, the white-curtained reception illuminated by a glittering chandelier is amazing. When I have to wait for another realtor (which happens very often in Miami !), I can comfortably sit down by the cozy glass-encased fireplace. Very handy when it’s already in the 90’s outside. Of course, during my showing, I can’t help myself from noticing all the wonderful amenities of the Icon South Beach such as the two private pools, the health spa, the fitness center with sauna, steam room, and the billiard room. By the way, you should also try the restaurant at the Icon, it’s peaceful, and you’ll get great food for the price.

But of course the best part of the Icon condo are the units themselves. They all have 9-foot ceilings, fine European cabinetry, state of the art appliances and spacious bathrooms. Last but not least, from every unit you’ll visit you’ll find amazing views.

To recap, it’s always a pleasure to show a unit at the Icon South Beach and walk back to my office at the Yacht Club at Portofino along the pet friendly marina bay walk.
